Karsha got a .onion address

Hey! Long time no see!

Just wanted to let you know that Karsha is now accessible via its new .onion address:

karsha7m2t73h7tz2p6ttu3mstmg5m4hp6t44wjhbsscfgelp6jxajad.onion

(You need to open the link with Tor Browser)

Karsha respects your privacy and anonymity. We don't ask for any identification or any extra information, and we only request for the information required to process your orders.

Tor users were always welcome to use Karsha, and we didn't block requests coming from Tor, nor put any limitation on them. Now, with our new .onion address, Tor users directly connect to Karsha inside Tor and can access our website within the Tor network, without any of the transferred data leaving the secure and privacy-oriented Tor network. This helps to better keep your privacy and anonymity, and it also makes using Karsha faster, more secure, and more reliable.

Happy browsing!

January 2019 Update

What did we do?

  • Our total number of supported coins and tokens just reached 440.
  • We now provide wider minimum and maximum exchange size for all systems.
  • Our exchange rate also got better for most of the systems.
  • We have optimized our website and Telegram bot to respond much faster.
  • Karsha Blog has been started which would let us post better contents and news updates.
  • We managed to partially resolve the "Receive Amount" getting outside of the border on our homepage. Man, that was ugly!
  • We have introduced our new support portal. Tickets are automatically created for every request sent to our email, Facebook page, Twitter account, or the customer support web portal and they will be processed much faster and more organized.

Going forward

  • We are preparing our Slack and Discord channels as a way to communicate better with our customers and business partners.
  • The extra unuseful digits from the "Receive Amount" will be trimmed to get a nicer and more useful display.

Long term plans

  • We are working on the send.as payment gateway and it will hopefully be ready in a few months.

Congratulations to BitCoin One for successfully launching their blockchain. They're not just an Ethereum token anymore, but an independent blockchain and cryptocurrency. Well done, BitCoin One!

Karsha is Not Backing SegWit2X

If you were following recent news, specially from the official website of Bitcoin (bitcoin.org), you may have noticed the recent events about SegWit2X. Apparently, many of the big corporations which were founded around Bitcoin, including many exchanges, wallets, service providers, etc, had signed an agreement to fork the base code of Bitcoin Core (the reference codebase of Bitcoin), and implement SegWit2X. You can easily find more information about SegWit2X, and how it'd impact Bitcoin, by a little research on Google. The problem is that the Bitcoin core development team and most of the Bitcoin regular users do not agree with that.

We, standing beside regular Bitcoin users (who power Bitcoin in the first place), are against SegWit2X. We won't back the decision, and we will continue to exchange what is accepted by Bitcoin.org website as Bitcoin and BTC.

You can also find our name at NoB2X.org.
